I didn't even confront him, I cried so much already and confronting him will make me cry more, I
looked at him, he is seated at the back, he is tallest and also one of the oldest, am 13 and he is
15, most guys fear him and he hardly make friends. At first I wanted to change that and make him
socialize, but seeing the devil he is, its better he is alone.
"Have you dried them" Martha asked, I gave her a nod, its already afternoon so most of it is dried
"Look at the bright side, you have Oliver to work with" she said and my mood lifted up, the prefect,
gave me and Oliver a portion to work together.
"Maybe I will tell him then" I said and looked at his side, he is chatting with his guys, he is so
perfect, not like the devil I know, I now looked at him, he is looking at the window, looking angry, is
the window provoking him now, I rolled my eyes, then as I regain my vision he have his eyes on
me, the angry expression is gone, he smiled at me and mouthed cupcake. I faced front for I know
that's him devicing another prank.
I left to clear the part after school, am already practicing what to say to Oliver and how I will
accidentally push him down, with me on top him then lay one on him, I can already imagine what
our wedding will be like.
"So can we start" I heard him say, he is here, time to put everything in motion. But first let's start
clearing the bush
"Good" I said, I can feel my face heat up.
Its like new couple clearing their farm land, I love the way he held his cutlass, its so manly, I
focused on my work and thinking what to say. A chill ran over me, only one person gives me such
chill,I looked up to see the devil talking to my Oliver, this can't be good
"Thanks" Oliver said, am confused, I didn't hear what he told him "I will be going, Esther, you
brother is really cool" Oliver said and took off
"What did you do" I barked at him
"Nothing, just relieved him of his duties cupcake" he said
Chapter 8
"How" I asked
"I told him to leave, that I will do his part" he said like he just did a good thing "And once again you ruined my plan" I barked at him "you were the one that even made me late in
the first place" I said, God just kill him
"I thought you would be happy that I relieved you crush" he said angrily, and I gasped, is it that
obvious "well I relieved him, doesn't mean I relieve you, as a matter of fact, I just worsen your
case"he said with a wicked grin
"What do you mean" I asked nervously
"I mean, I won't help you out cupcake" he said, and my eye widened
"Then why did you make him go" I said as I felt the tears starting to warm up.
"Cause your misery happens to be my amusement" he said with a sinister smile.
"I will just go home" I said, he giggled
"Then you and your crush will be punished" he said nonchalantly,
"I will tell them, you are the cause"
"I will say that I tried to help, you forced me to go home and leave the work, that Oliver is a fool for
leaving, I begged and you refused" he said looking at me, and I know that will bring more problem
with Oliver, I bit my lower lips to hold down my tears.
"I never thought hating you more is possible, how wrong, cause I just did" I said as tears welled up
"Isn't that splendid cupcake"he said, then left me to clear the whole field, how much more will I
take before I report him. I fear that if I report him, it might affect the happy marriage my mom have,
cause our parents might be force to choose side. Even that I have no evidence that he is doing it
to me.
Earlier I thought by now I will be in the arms of Oliver, now am alone clearing the field, my hand is
already paining me, that devil will be at home by now done with his chores, God I hate him. I hate
him more whenever people say he is handsome looking, I wish they can see pass his angelic face
and see the devil he is.
