As reported earlier that Popular Nolywood actress Funke Akindele had been arrested for hosting a party which goes against the COVID-19 rules put in place
Reports reaching us claims that veteran actress, Funke Akindele aka Jenifa and husband, JJC Skillz plead guilty in the magistrate court today.
The couple were arraigned at the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Ogba and pleaded guilty to the one count filed against them by the Attorney General of Lagos State, Moyosore Onigbanjo (SAN).
PUNCH reports that the proceedings are still on as verdict of the magistrate is still being awaited.
However, the duo could either spend one month in jail or pay a fee of 100,000 naira eac according to Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana.
He said; “Where the arrested person is found guilty, the person is liable to a fine of N100,000.00 or one-month imprisonment or three months Community service.”
