Lately social media has been the hub where protesters to express their thoughts as relating to the constant brutality and dehumanization which has become rampant in various parts of the world.
Few weeks ago a video surfaced online where a police officer publicly murdered an unarmed black man identified as George Floyd in the city of Minneapolisa , Minnesota United States of America. This Racial occurrence is what has made a lot of strong based personalities take to their social media pages to languish the extent of racism which is a major problem in the USA still talking about getting #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd another saddening occurrence erupted the social media space which brings us to the main article.
An undergraduate of the University of Benin known for short as UWA was found defiled and murdered in a RCCG parish in the Ikpoba hills area of Benin city. Uwa (22) was said to have gone to read in a Redeemed Christian Church were this disheartening event occured trusted sources claim that her head was smashed with a fire extinguisher and she was left there to die after being raped.
This sad news has triggered the social media world and had charged strong based celebrities and personalities to speak up and request for #JusticeForUwa amongst other celebrities who raised a voice about this issue is popular Nigerian Musician Adekunle Gold  he took to his verified Twitter page to loud his pain in relation with the sad event.

My heart bleeds.Uwa and Tina’s lives have been cut short because we’ve raised and enabled a generation of men who believe women should be exploited not protected.We’ve enabled powerdrunk senseless men with uniforms and weapons.We are not allowed to sit down there and say “not all men” fuck that! All men are responsible. Your brother’s heart is desperately wicked and you have enabled it, wether in catcalling or in objectification. We have enabled it. Not waiting on the government to do anything, don’t want to set myself up for further disappointment.I pray we raise better sons and enable better men
